E-Signature

Admittedly: when you hear the term "digital services", a private bank might not immediately come to mind. A preconception perhaps? This can be the case for Bethmann Bank. We were quick to recognise and implement the opportunities offered by digital channels.

 

No more wasteful paperwork: use an electronic signature (e-signature)

Until quite recently, concluding contracts with a bank always meant being handed mountains of paper, which often required many signatures. The e-signature makes that obsolete. Our secure and uncomplicated procedure enables you to sign documents digitally from home or on the move - even on your smartphone or tablet. Not only is this extremely convenient, it is also much quicker because we are not dependant on the postal service. More importantly, if we all print out and send less paper, it will be beneficial for the environment as well.

How does it work? It's actually quite simple: all you need is an email address and a mobile phone. You state these in the agreement on the use of the e-signature. You will need access to both to be able to sign documents electronically.

It takes about five minutes to set up the e-signature. This time is spent well and you will see just how much easier and quicker it is to check and sign the documents afterwards. Whether it's an exemption order or a change of address: there is a multitude of documents that you can e-sign from the comfort of your own home.
