Identity verification via VideoIdent
Do you need to undergo an identity check as a new customer? With our VideoIdent procedure, this process is also very simple. You can carry out the identification from anywhere and at any time. Benefit from faster processing thanks to digital transmission.

Introduction
To be able to sign documents electronically, you need access to the e-mail address and cell phone that you have given us for this purpose. During an e-signature session, you must first authenticate yourself and can then sign the documents electronically. Allow approximately 5 minutes for a session.

Procedure
1. E-mail and link
- You will receive a link including a code from the bank by e-mail
- This link is valid for 30 calendar days
- Click on this link and enter the code on the website
2. Signing the documents
- You will be automatically redirected to signhost.com
- A TAN will be sent to your telephone number stored with us to display the document to be signed
- After checking the document, you can sign the document
3. Conclusion of the e-signature session
Once you have signed the document, the e-signature session is complete and you will then receive two separate e-mails from the sender signature@bethmannbank.de:
- An e-mail with the electronically signed document as a PDF and a link to download it
- A second e-mail with the transaction receipt for your records

Our partner Evidos
For our e-signature service, we use the particularly user-friendly IT solution Signhost from our trust service provider Evidos. Evidos is the market leader in the field of online identification and e-signatures and has been on the market for more than 10 years.
Our qualified e-signature with ZealiD
In order to be able to sign our sensitive documents electronically in a legally secure way, we use the qualified electronic signature from ZealiD via our partner Evidos. ZealiD is a trust service provider. This means that your e-signature has the same legal validity as a handwritten signature and is accepted within the EU member states.

How do I know that Evidos is safe?
Bethmann Bank uses the online service unterzeichnung.de from Evidos for electronic signatures. Evidos uses a secure SSL certificate to secure the communication between the web server and your browser. You know that you are using an active Evidos SSL certificate if
